RE: The tariff classification of item number 62466, Hannah Montana Concert Dress Up Set, from China.

Dear Ms. Beck:

In your letter dated February 21, 2008, you requested a tariff classification ruling.

Item 62466, Hannah Montana Concert Dress Up Set, is a flimsy textile costume set that consists of a top, a shrug, a skirt, a headset and bracelets, with the top imparting the essential character. The top is overwhelmingly flimsy with a loose overlock stitched neck and seams, a flimsy hook and loop tab closure, and raw or loose overlock stitched edges at the arms, bottom and closure.

The applicable subheading for Hannah Montana Concert Dress Up Set, will be 9505.90.6000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Festive, carnival or other entertainment articles, including magic tricks and practical joke articles; parts and accessories thereof: Other: Other.” The rate of duty will be Free.
