RE: The tariff classification of Planet Earth Prehistoric Dinosaurs, Item #1679 from China

Dear Ms. Hobbs:

In your letter dated February 22, 2007, you requested a tariff classification ruling.

The subject article, Item #1679 is called Planet Earth Prehistoric Dinosaurs. The article consists of 12 plastic toy dinosaurs in a plastic bag. The toy is put up for the amusement of children.

The applicable subheading for the Planet Earth Prehistoric Dinosaurs will be 9503.00.0080, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for Tricycles, scooters, pedal carsother toysparts and accessories thereofOther. The rate of duty will be Free.
