RE: Amendment to PD 815056 dated October 17, 1995.

Dear Mr. Plenby:

In your letter dated October 31, 1995, you requested an amendment of classification ruling PD 815056 which was issued to you on October 17, 1995 from the Port Director at JFK.

The original ruling PD 815056 reflected a discrepancy between the HTS subheading number and the subsequent category number. The item, a 100 percent cotton tote bag, was classified correctly under HTS 4202.92.1500, however, the letter inadvertently reflected the incorrect category as 670. The correct category number should read 369. All other information remains the same. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

A copy of this supplement and the original ruling letter should be attached to the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported. If the documents have been filed without a copy, this ruling should be brought to the attention of the Customs officer handling the transaction.
