RE: The tariff classification of hair ornaments from Hong Kong, India, and Taiwan.

Dear Mr. Stack:

In your letter dated December 18, 1990, on behalf of your client Fredrick Worldwide Co., you requested a tariff classification ruling.

The prospective imports will be classified as follows:

Description, Style Classification Rate of Number and C/O Duty

1. Textile covered plastic 9615.19.6010 11 percent headbands, style numbers ad
59106 and 59106BK, from valorem
Taiwan.

2. A textile headband decorated 9615.19.6010 11 percent with beads, spangles and ad imitation gemstones, style valorem number 89241, from Hong Kong

3. A textile twister or ponytail 9615.19.6010 11 percent holder, style number 9785, from ad
India. valorem
(free under G.S.P)

4. Textile headwraps with a 9015.19.6010 11 percent knotted fronts, style ad numbers 346630 and valorem
34630BK, from Taiwan.

This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Section 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).

A copy of this ruling letter should be attached to the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported. If the documents have been filed without a copy, this ruling should be brought to the attention of the Customs officer handling the transaction.
