RE: The tariff classification of Hillary Clinton Mask (Style 10508), Gnome Mask (Style 10522), Hungry Wolf Mask (Style 10529), Satan Mask (Style 10530), and Cartman Mask (Style 10531) from China.

Dear Ms. Johnson:

In your letter dated March 19, 2007, you requested a tariff classification ruling.

You have submitted photographs of the following articles, which will be used as Halloween costumes: Hillary Clinton Mask (Style 10508), Gnome Mask (Style 10522), Hungry Wolf Mask (Style 10529), Satan Mask (Style 10530), and Cartman Mask (Style 10531).

The applicable subheading for the Hillary Clinton Mask (Style 10508), Gnome Mask (Style 10522), Hungry Wolf Mask (Style 10529), Satan Mask (Style 10530), and Cartman Mask (Style 10531) will be 9505.90.6000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for “Festive, carnival or other entertainment articles, including magic tricks and practical joke articles; parts and accessories thereof: Other: Other.” The rate of duty will be Free.

This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
