RE: The tariff classification of a “4 Piece Flocked Horse and Dog” from China

Dear Ms. Aldinger:

In your letter dated June 1, 2006, you requested a tariff classification ruling.

You are requesting the tariff classification on a product that is described as a “4 Piece Flocked Horse and Dog”; the item number is 946280. The item is designed for the amusement of young girls. The package is comprised of one horse with a harness and a saddle, three colts, and a dog. The product will be available in three assorted styles that are arranged differently in each package. Four horses and one dog will be in each assortment. Product information and pictures were submitted, in lieu of samples.

The applicable subheading for the “4 Piece Flocked Horse and Dog”, item number 946280, will be 9503.49.0000, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for toys representing animals or non-human creaturesand parts and accessories thereof: other. The rate of duty will be free.
