RE: The tariff classification of hemp seed oil and hemp seed protein powder from China

Dear Mr. Aurecchione:

We are returning your request for a ruling and any related exhibits, etc. We need additional information in order to issue a ruling on the hemp seed protein powders and hemp seed oil. Please submit the information described below:

1. Please supply a four-ounce sample of each protein powder and the hemp seed oil.

2. Please supply a complete component breakout indicating the exact protein content percentage for each powder.

3. Please include the percentage by weight for all components in each hemp seed protein powder.

If you decide to resubmit your request for the hemp oil and hemp seed protein powders, please include all of the material that we have returned to you and mail your request to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Customs Information Exchange, 10th Floor, One Penn Plaza, New York, NY 10119, attn: Binding Rulings Section

This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Part 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
