RE: The tariff classification of women’s shirts from Korea

Dear Ms. Williams:

In your letter dated August 2, 2006, you requested a classification ruling. The sample will be returned, as requested.

Style WJSS75739B is a women’s shirt made from 100% cotton chambray woven fabric. The shirt features a notched collar, a full front opening secured by four buttons, long sleeves with side vent cuffs, a hemmed bottom with side vents and embroidery and beading on the front panels.

The applicable subheading for style WJSS75739B will be 6206.30.3010, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for women’s shirts, of cotton: with two or more colors in the warp and/or the filling. The duty rate will be 15.4 percent ad valorem.
