RE: The tariff classification of a child’s apron from China.

Dear Mr./Ms. Steller:

In your undated letter you requested a classification ruling.

The submitted sample, style PLCK2-02 (PC8407AP), Café Kit Grill Apron is a bib style apron made of woven 100% cotton fabric. The apron has two patch pockets, an adjustable textile neck strap and two self-ties at the waist.

The applicable subheading for the Café Kit Grill Apron, style PLCK2-02 (PC8407AP) will be 6211.42.0081, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), which provides for "Tack suits, ski-suits and swimwear; other garments: Other garments, women’s or girls’: Of cotton: Other." The rate of duty will be 8.1% ad valorem. The textile category designation is 359.
