This concerns the Request for Further Review of Protest No. 4909-97-1000017. Your office granted the request for further review and on April 17, 1997, forwarded the protest to Headquarters for our decision on this matter.

The requirements for further review are contained Section 174.24, Customs Regulations (19 CFR 174.24). That section sets our four criteria for further review. Our review of the subject protest reveals that the instant protest does not meet any of those criteria. Accordingly, further review should not have been granted.

Protest No. 4909-97-1000017 is returned herewith for your action.
