RE: Supplement to Ruling 893985 regarding the correct classification and category designation for a woman's jacket and skirt.

Dear Ms. Rice:

In NY ruling letter 893985, dated January 27, 1994, Customs made a clerical error in the classification of a woman's jacket and skirt, designated as style 0902/0904. The correct classification for the jacket is 6204.39.3010, HTS, dutiable at 29% ad valorem, textile category designation 635. The correct classification for the pants is 6204.69.3510, HTSA, dutiable at 30.4% ad valorem, textile category designation 648.

This supplement should be presented whenever NY ruling 893985 is presented. The classifications, rates of duty and category designations provided for the other garments classified in that ruling remain the same.
