This classification decision under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS) is being issued in accordance with the provisions of Section 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).

DESCRIPTION OF
MERCHANDISE : The submitted sample, styles 31047 and 31276, are women's, 100 percent polyester, fleeced, finely knit garments. Style 31047 is a pullover. It is constructed with more than 9 stitches per 2 centimeters measured in the horizontal direction. The garment has a hood with a drawstring closure, a partial front opening, long sleeves, a fleeced interior and exterior, pouch pockets, and ribbing at the sleeve cuffs and waistband. Style 31276 is a jacket. The garment has a full front zipper opening, long sleeves, a fleeced interior and exterior, two slant pockets at the waist, and an elasticized waistband and sleeve cuffs.

A copy of this ruling letter should be attached to the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported. If the documents have been filed without a copy, this ruling should be brought to the attention of the Customs officer handling the transaction.
