This classification decision under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS) is being issued in accordance with the provisions of Section 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).

DESCRIPTION OF
MERCHANDISE : The Farallon Portable Pack is used when building up a network in which many devices may be connected to a control location with the use of a telephone system. The number of components comprising the Farallon Portable Pack are dependent on the type of network desired by the end user. In this instance the portable pack consists of 2 Phoneset Starconnectors, 2 RJ11 7' Extension Cables, PN120 Phonenet to Local Talk Adaptor Cable, 2 Y-Splitters, 2 Cable Extenders, Power Strip, Multi-Functional Knife, Phillips/Flat Head Screwdriver and Installation Guide, all accomodated in a 100 percent cotton canvas portable bag. The knife and screwdriver have no part in the network except when installing the wiring between the network components and the telephone lines.
