RE: Supplement to Classification Ruling 899205 Regarding Tariff Number for style 4700

Dear Ms. Cappello:

In your letter dated July 22, 1994, you indicated that the fabrication of style 4700 has changed. Style 4700, subject of ruling 899205, will now be constructed from woven fabric that is 70 percent nylon/30 percent rayon.

The applicable subheading for style 4700 will be 6206.40.3030, which provides for women's or girls' blouses: of man-made fibers: other: women's. The rate of duty will be 28.6 percent ad valorem and the textile category designation will be 641.

A copy of this supplement should be attached to the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported along with ruling 899205. If the documents are filed without a copy, this supplement should be brought to the attention of the Customs officer handling the transaction.
