RE: The tariff classification of Khladon
113(trichlorotrifluoroethane) (CAS# 76-13-1) from Russia.

Dear Mr. McNamara:

In your letter dated November 16, 1992, you requested a tariff classification ruling.

The applicable subheading for Khladon 113, which is trichloro- trifluoroethane, will be 2903.40.0020, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS). The rate of duty will be 3.7 percent ad valorem.

This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Section 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).
