RE: The tariff classification of a Len Cleaning Kit #Ck00050 from Taiwan.

Dear Mr. Ryan:

In your letter dated August 12, 1992, you requested a tariff classification ruling.

A sample of the Lens Cleaning Kit #Ck00050 was submitted with your inquiry and is being returned. The kit consists of one photo album, one package of lens tissue and one bottle of lens cleaner.

The Lens Cleaning Kit #Ck00050 is not considered a set and each item will be separately classified as follows:

ITEM HTS RATE OF DUTY

Photo Album 3924.90.5000 3.4% ad valorem

Lens Tissue 4818.20.0040 5.3% ad valorem

Lens Cleaner 3402.20.1000 6.6% ad valorem

This ruling is being issued under the provisions of Section 177 of the Customs Regulations (19 C.F.R. 177).

A copy of this ruling letter should be attached to the entry documents filed at the time this merchandise is imported. If the documents have already been filed, this ruling should be brought to the attention of the Customs officer handling the transaction.
