RE: Classification of Imported Goods

Dear Ms. Fahy:

In your recent letter, you requested tariff classifications for a variety of handicraft items which you plan to export to the United States from Nepal, India, Taiwan, and the Philippines. In most instances, you gave general descriptions of the articles which you wished to export.

Unfortunately, we cannot give you tariff classifications without specific descriptions of the actual articles which you plan to export, preferably with samples of each. If you will provide us with this information, we will be glad to give you the tariff classifications you request.
