RE: Internal Advice Request No. 36/87 Concerning the Tariff Classification of Various Jewelry Purses, Folders and a Case Manufactured in Korea

Dear Sir:

This request for Internal Advice was filed by Marks Brothers Manufacturing Co., of Chicago, Illinois, in a letter dated March 31, 1987, and forwarded to this office by your memorandum dated May 19, 1987.

In a letter dated June 16, 1988, copy enclosed, Marks Brothers by its Vice President, Douglas Patinkin, withdrew its request for Internal Advice on this matter due to changed circumstances.

In view of the withdrawal of the Internal Advice Request by Mr. Patinkin, we are closing our file on this matter. You should inform the inquirer of this letter.
