It should be pointed out that 'Silver' does not refer to color of the grill, but to the product level. There are also gold and platinum levels. This Weber is black in color.
As any outdoor grill has to be able to stand up to the weather, it is nice to know that the Weber Grill is sturdy and resistant to rust. The body of the grill is heavy steel well coated with porcelain to make certain that the user will experience few, if any problems, with the bowl of the grill deteriorating. The legs and ash catcher are aluminum, so there will never be an issue with rust there. Probably the only fault to be found with this grill is in the handles - while previous models had handles made of wood, the ones on the Weber 741001 are nylon, and tend to become warm when the grill is used.
