I have owned a Weber 1520 Propane Gas Go-Anywhere Grill for a number of years and I would recommend it to anyone. I originally bought it to take with us during our camping trips but have ended up using it at home too.

I have gone through a number of gas barbecues for our home over the years. Large, expensive gas barbecues that tend to die after about 2 years of use, even when they are covered during inclement weather. Each spring, we have found the need to replace the grill and other parts on our large gas barbecues. It gets very expensive when you are constantly replacing pieces. As a result, we have begun using our little portable barbecue as it seems to be made better than the more expensive, larger barbecues.

Ranging in price from approximately $45.00 and up, the Weber Go-Anywhere grill is a good deal for the money. With a handy push-button ignition system, there is no need to burn your fingers attempting to light it. It is small enough that the heat distributes evenly for ease of cooking, especially meat. The lid is easy to open and close while cooking or for storage. It is not a heavy grill, but it is sturdy. The weight is approximately 14.5 pounds. The size is 23.8 x 12.4 x 8.9 inches. You can adjust the heat from low to medium to high and anywhere in between.

Because it is fairly small in size, it is not suitable for use for large groups of people. There is only myself and my husband and there is plenty of room to cook food for the two of us. I find it a little difficult to screw in the can of propane. It seems awkward to me and I am always a little concerned about leakage while screwing it in. For this reason, that job is usually my husband's. You will always need to keep spare propane tanks for the grill on hand as they do not last all that long. An alternative is to buy an adapter hose and a large propane tank to hook up to it. The grill is about as easy to clean as any other that is similar in size and make. They also tend to rust after just a few years of use but as they don't cost anywhere near as much as a large barbecue, you don't mind purchasing a new one every two to three years.
