The 55SV670U television set from Toshiba is newer than that of most other sets in Toshiba's Consumer line. This is a set that works with some good technologies though. It works with a great backlight that was very easy to control and is able to work with USB and SD devices.
The 55SV670U features a large fifty-five inch screen. This screen was able to produce quality 1080p images with ease. The images can also be adjusted to where they can work with different resolutions. Each resolution was able to be displayed in a good manner but the 1080p is still the most impressive of all of the ones that the set can support.
The Clearscan feature on the set is a great feature to take a look at. This Toshiba set works with a faster processor that works with a scan rate of 240Hz. This is a rate that is about twice as great as that of other sets in the same field. This made it easier for the set to work with more images and to keep from creating blurry images.
The LED backlight was great not only for its energy saving properties and its ability to handle the entire screen but also because it can be adjusted. The light can dim itself when needed in cases when no one is in an area or the light is too low. This worked to make it easier for the set to display images with the right brightness levels in mind. This was a very convenient feature of the set in that it was easy to see things on it in a number of light intensities.
The problem with many television sets these days is that while they do have plenty of HDMI ports, which this set does have, they do not have USB or SD ports. The 55SV670U has both USB and SD ports. It is easy to read video and audio files off of these devices with ease.
Interestingly enough the set cost about $2400. This is about two hundred dollars below some comparable models from other companies and about five hundred dollars below the costs for some of Sony's top name models. Toshiba appears to be confident enough of its sets that it is willing to sell them off at low prices to people who want them. This can only be beneficial for the people who are looking for television sets on the market.
