When buying this treadmill, I also purchased a number of other machines for the setup of a home gym. It was more about affordability then about the extras, so I went with the intention of something basic but was very happy to have purchased something that exceeded what I was looking for but within the intended spending range.

It has been used quite a bit over the last few years (purchased 4-5 years ago) and showing no signs of wear. The sales person told me that this model would not be suitable for heavier training. That was fine at first, but over the years it has been used quite intensively for vigorous training by teenage boys and it is still standing strong.

I particularly like the physical extras. On the top there is a built in fan which directly fans your face and really does make a difference especially when exercising in the heat. On both sides of the fan are compartments to hold things such as a bottle of water, an mp3 player etc.

The controls are very simple to use. There are manual options, where you can change the speed and incline yourself - it can be increased one at a time, or jump 10 at a time. There are also programs built in that control speed and incline but I prefer to make my own program depending on the exercise I want. It also checks heart rate.

There is another impressive feature where you can connect the treadmill to a stereo, computer or VCR and it is like having a personal trainer. Although, these are purchased separately and I never did.

It is a good machine for storage. It folds up nice and compact but it is not the easiest to move around. Although it has wheels, it is extremely heavy and is not the type of thing to move into place each use and then put away elsewhere like some other machines.
