Mr. Coffee Coffee Maker with Clock

Rating: 3 out of 5
  • Currently 3.0/5.0

For those who don't drink coffee too often or do but do not wish to spend a lot on a coffee machine, the Mr. Coffee Coffee Maker is an alright option. It definitely gets the job done but is not comparable to coffee makers that are more expensive. These cost $24.99 and can be found at your local Kmart, Target, Walmart, or any other convenience store. It's large enough to brew up to twelve cups of coffee, which is convenient if you have guests over of if you have a large family. It comes with a brew pause feature which helps prevent spills when pouring your coffee. It also allows you to pour your coffee before it's completely brewed. The area where you pour the water in is large enough so that you won't have to be extra careful to not spill water when pouring it in. The side is clear so you can see how much water is left in there and how much has already been brewed. It does not have a self clean option like some more expensive coffee makers do, however it is easy to wash and keep clean. It looks cute in the kitchen and will get the job done but be aware that you get what you pay for. My Mr. Coffee Coffee Maker stopped working after about a year. It has problems with heating the water so the result is unfinished and cold coffee. Judging on the price I spent on it though, I can not say I was dissatisfied with the product. For $25 I used it for a year, but decided to purchase a more expensive model that will last me longer and come with more features. As I mentioned earlier, if coffee is something you make from time to time, this item is recommended for you. If you're an avid drinker, it may be best to invest in a better quality machine or buy this one until you can afford a better one.
