I was very excited to purchase this product because I thought it would be a huge convenience and a space saver. It washes and dries the clothes all in one cycle so you do not have to remember to switch your laundry over, which is nice when running errands or going to work. The washer part is amazing. It is probably the best washer I have ever used and it is very quiet. However, the drier takes and incredible long amount of time to dry clothes. A small load takes at least 2 hours to dry and a large load can take up to 3 1/2 hours to dry. If you are in a hurry, or have a large amount of laundry to finish then this is totally unrealistic.
I do love that this washer/dryer combo uses much less electricity than my separate washer and dryer I used previously, and I love how clean and fluffy my clothes are when they are finished. Had I known it was going to take so long for a load of laundry to finish I would not have purchased this item. Part of the ease of separate washer and dryers is that you can start a second load when the first one is drying; in this situation that is not an option and with a single load taking up to 5 hours to finish, it is an all day process to do two loads of laundry.
On days when I have to do just a load of laundry and I am very busy, I really love this machine. I just put the load in and know that when I come home it will be very clean and fluffy and dry. On days when I have more than one load of laundry to do I get very annoyed that it takes so long. It is really a love/hate relationship I am having. For someone who has endless amounts of both time and patience this is a great machine. I, however, am not always that person.
