This is truly a refrigerator I have waited for my whole life. The stainless steel is stunning and I really love that the freezer is smaller, below, in a drawer because I don't keep a lot of frozen goods in the house. What I really needed was more refrigerator room for my family and I certainly got it with this unit. The double doors allow you to store a lot of drinks, etc without taking up needed room on the shelves. The two humidity controlled clear crisper bins seem to keep my fruit and vegetables much fresher for a longer amount of time than my old refrigerator too. There are four compartment crisper bins in total and Glide 'n Serve drawers which I just love.

The inside of the refrigerator has LED lighting and the freezer has ice storage. Although the unit looks pretty large, I think it is just deceiving because of the doors. It is 69 inches tall, 35 inches wide and about 34 inches in depth when you include the handle. The freezer is 7.3 cubic feet but the refrigerator is an impressive 12.7 cubic feet which is perfect for anyone with a family. This LG was $1949.99 which was a bit more expensive than some other basic models but really it was a bit less expensive than others with french doors. It also uses 20 percent less energy than what is required so it makes less of an impact on the environment, which was very important to me.

The stainless steel unfortunately does not clean itself but it cleans with a simple wipe of vinegar and water solution I keep in a spray bottle. You can use Windex too. There is one feature on this refrigerator that just makes me love it more every time I hear it and that is an alarm that sounds when the door has been open too long. For whatever reason, someone in my house can never seem to close the refrigerator door all the way. Now, with this LG refrigerator, we are alarmed when it has been open so it isn't sitting there wasting energy, letting all the cold air out. I didn't even realize this unit came with this feature until the first time I heard it and I had to go read my owner's manual to figure out what it was.

If you are looking for a stainless steel refrigerator that looks gorgeous and that has been thoughtfully designed for a family that needs a lot of usable room, not space that nothing can fit in, this is the perfect unit for you.
