Keurig single cup brewing system

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

The Keurig single cup brewing system is a convenient and easy way to brew a single cup of gourmet coffee, tea or hot chocolate quickly. This fast system can brew a single serving in less than a minute making it great to get a cup of coffee on the run without paying the coffee shop price. To get this quick cup of coffee, teas or even hot chocolate just fill the reservoir full of fresh water, place your mug on the drip tray, toss in your favorite K-cup (mine happens to be the hot chocolate). Press the handle down and the two needles will puncture the K-cup instantly delivering the pressurized water through the K-cup delivering a perfectly brewed cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate. I love that there is no clean up simply remove the K-cup and throw it away. No loose coffee grounds or filters to mess with or spill as you're trying to toss it in the trash. When purchasing the K-cups they are more expensive than purchasing a container of coffee but you must remember that they are less expensive than the cup of coffee you are purchasing at the coffee shop. My family and I like the hot chocolate, but not the dark hot chocolate that seems to have a bitter taste, not the smooth chocolate taste we are looking for. We also enjoy the variety box a little something for everyone, and are excited to try the new K-cup iced tea. We love ice tea but don't always make it because it always seems to go to waste after the first few glasses. Over the holidays it's great when you have company over, my whole extended family can make their own coffee, making it kind of fun for them, and taking another task off of my hands so I don't have to monitor the coffee. Plus it eliminates the need for a big carafe of coffee and creates less waste. My Keurig system tends to be too tall for my cabinet height so I have to take it in and out of the pantry making it a little less convenient. So be sure to measure your distance between your cabinets and your counter top if you plan on leaving it sit on your counter.
