Black Kenmore Electric Range 9537

This electric range made by Kenmore and sold by Sears retails for about $620 dollars. This model gives the owner a lot of nice features that can definitely make cooking more enjoyable. First, the top is a smooth ceramic cook top that will save time by not having to clean burner grates and pans any longer. A small sample of a special cleaner comes with the purchase and the ceramic top needs to be cleaned with this kind of cleaner to ensure the warranty and that your cook top remain in great shape.
Everything on this range is digital with a center panel that controls everything except turning on the burners. Included in the features of the range is a warm and hold indicator that allows you to cook a meal and keep it warm in case the family is not home on time. In addition, the baking element is hidden in the stove floor, which makes clean up of spills a whole lot easier. To set an oven temperature, you push in the time and press start. Once the desired temperature has been reached, which is pretty quickly, you are ready to cook. The timer is a great feature also, and there is a button that allows the cook to add a minute to the time instead of starting the time all over.
The range also is terrific in adding features that one may not usually find on a range that sells for this price. Recipe recall can store all the temperatures of your favorite recipes and when you select that recipe, the oven will automatically adjust itself to that temperature. Another cool feature is the air guard that runs along the bottom of the back panel. This feature enables the range to suck in bad cooking odors, such as garlic or fish, and filter the smells so that the air is clean. This is a great thing. Since we purchased this range about nine months ago, we literally cannot smell any strong cooking odors even when standing at the range.
There is the standard pull out drawer for cookie sheets and other pans. The window on this model is extra large, allowing one to see the entire cooking unit inside the oven. This is great when you are watching a batch of cookies or a cake baking. Our family has found no drawbacks to owning this range, and would purchase another one just like it.
