The Kenmore (Sears' house brand) Countertop Microwave Oven is outstanding. I have owned this model for a few years and it continues to perform great. Its compact size fits on most kitchen cabinets or countertops.

The oven is large enough to cook a whole chicken or small turkey. Inside you will find a large glass dish which spins your meal while it is cooking. The dish is simple to remove and dishwasher safe, so spills are not a problem. The door does lack a handle, but pops open when you push the button on the front of the oven.

The control panel has large easy to read buttons and is completely covered, so spills are not an issue. The oven is simple to use, no fancy menu commands: Just place your dish inside, hit the numbers for how long you wish it to cook and hit start. That is all it takes!

There are preprogramed settings for popcorn, potato, beverage, fresh vegetable, and frozen entree. It also offers the ability to control the power level and set it to 'auto defrost.' On the inside frame of the door is a sticker which provides guidance for the oven's 'Quick Touch' settings (none of which I have ever needed or used).

The interior light is very bright enabling the user to check on their dish without stopping it from cooking. The inside is easy to keep clean, requiring only a damp rag. If there is a major disaster in the unit from over cooking, additional cleaning could be required.

This Kenmore microwave is simple and easy to use. It will provide you with years of fast cooking from a quiet oven. Overall this is a superior microwave which provides all the features of more expensive units at a low cost. It is also small and stylist. A nice fit into anybody's kitchen.
