In-Sinkerator Evolution 200 Food Waste Disposal

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

This was built in when we had kitchen renovations and it is absolutely fantastic and worth the money. We paid roughly $1200.

It is so easy to use, turn on the water, press one button and there is no food waste left. I would have to say it might be the best one on the market as in ability, there is always a list of things that you can't put in these products, but this can take everything - even large bones and large corn cobs.

It really isn't loud at all. In comparison to other ones especially. Because the water runs at the same time, you hear the sound of the water along with it and it is no louder then that.

The speed is also amazing. It has 3 stages of grinding so filling it up with bones for example takes less than 30 seconds before it has passed through.

It came with a 6 year warranty as standard so that was a plus as well. Our sink was the right size for us to buy an extension, so there is a small tunnel before it reaches the blades, this is so convenient when putting a large number of things down at once.

The plug is also really good, you can push it so that things don't fall into the hole when you don't want it to, but also when putting a number of things in the sink, the plug fits perfectly as a tool to push it down so it glides. The rubber cover can also be taken off but this is a clean easy way as well without fiddling around.

Installation was done by someone who is very basic 'follow a guide' rather than handyman and he had no problem. So installation of the unit should be quite easy as long as the sink is the right size etc.

No problems with this at all!
