Holland HBS1156 Caliente Billiard Table

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

Holland has made a variety of different billiard tables over the years and all of these tables work with their own unique features. One of the most notable tables to see with this in mind is the HBS1156 Caliente table. This is a pool table with a good series of features and a unique design. It is also something that is cheaper than some other models from Holland.

The Caliente table is noted first for its impressive wooden finish. This finish was able to blend in with other materials inside of the billiard table. A mahogany finish was used in that this is the most commonly used material and was the color predominantly used in the test room. However, a cherry finish is also available for those who want something different out of their tables.

The length of the table was good enough in that it was about seven feet long. An eight foot option is also available at the same price as that of the seven foot option, thus giving any person an option to work with when finding a billiard table.

The designs used on the exterior of the table were very impressive. The designs feature a series of rectangular and square shaped designs around the table. These designs were consistent around the entire table. The legs were also thick enough to where they could easily support the weight of the table above the ground.

Black pockets are used around the entire table. These black pockets matched up very well with the cloth and the wood finish around the rest of the table.

Speaking of the felt this was available in a variety of colors including green, black and burgundy. This felt was also made with proper types of fabric including wool. This is all placed above a slate table that is thick and created a good playing field that everyone in the test room was able to enjoy.

The value of this table is great to take a look at. The table is about $2600 in value. This is less than some of the three thousand dollar tables that are available in terms of seven or eight foot tables. The fact that this is the same value for both the seven and eight foot tables is a great thing to take a look at. This is something that will easily top the rest of the table with ease.
