Fellowes® Powershred® PS-79Ci 100% Jam Proof 13-Sheet Cross-Cut Shredder

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

When people need a paper shredder, they don't look into it as much as they should. Not all paper shredders last as long as they should, nor work as properly as expected. After a few dozen papers, they will only take in a sheet at a time and sometimes not even that. Keep this in mind when choosing a paper shredder. The Fellowes Powershred PS - 79C is a great choice. Although it's quite expensive ($200), it's worth it for those who need one and plan on keeping it for years. If you have just a few papers that need shredding, it's not worth it. Other than that, this is a great choice because it just does not jam. I use this paper shredder in my office; when the entire office I work at went paperless and started keeping everything stored through the computer, I needed to get rid of over two hundred files of paperwork and it was no problem for the Fellowes Powershred. Just shred a few papers at a time, empty out the bottom when it gets full, and continue! You can overwork this machine with no worry that it will break down on you at any point. The only negative aspect of this shredder is the noise level; it's a little bit too high, but if it gets the work done than that's all that matters. It shreds up to thirteen pieces of paper at once so you don't need to waste hours in front of a shredder with tedious work. The Fellowes Powershred PS-79Ci makes paper shredding easy, quick, and effortless. It's worth every dollar spent on it and other satisfied customers mentioned that if anything does go wrong with the shredder, customer service provides you with whatever you need to have it fixed, even when warranty is over. If you have files, paperwork, old bills, letters, or anything else you don't want lying around the house or office, this is a great option for you.

I would give this shredder 5 stars. It chops up paper, plastic credit cards, and staples effortlessly. You don't want to operate it while someone near you is on the phone, though, as it is noisy.
