Eureka Smart Boss Pet Vacuum
The Eureka Smart Boss Pet Vacuum is an important machine to have in your household if you have any kind of pets, especially pets who shed. When our daughter was deployed to Iraq last year, my husband and I took care of her two cats. We only had a dog, and the shedding had been minimal. Add two cats to the family and the hair was horrendous. Soon I began to research different types of pet vacuums and this model was highly rated by other users.
The Smart Boss Pet Vacuum has a unique feature included, the Power Paw. This little beauty attaches itself to your vacuum hose and begins to operate like the smallest vacuum you will ever see. It is especially made to vacuum up pet hair from curtains, pillows and upholstery. And it works like a dream. My dining room chairs became a favorite sleeping area for the two cats, and the chairs are covered in red suede fabric. White and gray hairs were left in abundance daily on these seats. It only took about 5 minutes a day to get rid of all of the hair using the power paw attachment. The only negative about the Power Paw is that it wants to fall out of the holder when you are doing regular vacuuming, hitting the floor or your foot. The holder for the Paw needs to be redesigned. Other attachments are included that are standard, such as a crack and crevice tool, other upholstery tools, etc., that are included with most standard machines.
Another nice feature is the base of the machine has a lot of settings for the type of floor you are cleaning; from bare floors to the highest plush carpeting and in between. The front of the vacuum includes a bright powered light so that you can really see the area you are cleaning and the machine really gets in to all the corners leaving no area dirty. The machine also has a heap filter that will trap all the fine particles and does a terrific job.
It is also very easy to take off the belt with this model. Even someone with limited knowledge of the mechanics of the vacuum can detach the bottom unit to replace the belt or to unclog the hose. Part of the hose is clear so that it is sometimes easy to see where a clog may be lurking. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone who has a pet.
