Electralog Electric Fireplace

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

The Electralog electric fireplace is wonderful addition to a bedroom (which is where we have ours) or large bathroom for extra heat and/or the cozy look of a fireplace. Because it is portable and compact (about 24"h x 19.5"l x 10"d), this electric fireplace is ideal for apartment living.

My Electralog electric fireplace is a Model No. 6901051300 and is 2 years old. The retail price of this electric space heater is around $150. It is 120 volts and puts out 1500 watts of heat. Which is standard for most space heaters. It is thermostat controlled so that the level of heat can be adjusted to the space and weather. The Electralog heater also came with a remote control. I have to say that it is very convenient, especially during those romantic interludes.

Nothing heats up the look of a room like a fireplace. Of course, wood fireplaces are very expensive and totally messy. Gas fire logs are not as messy, but unless there is a fireplace already built in, this would mean major renovation. The Electralog electric fireplace bypasses the 'muss and fuss.' Electralog makes it easy to have a fireplace no matter where you live; whether you own your own home or rent.

With the Electralog electric fireplace, we have the option of having extra heat for chilly evenings and nights when it's not quite cold enough to have the central unit on or during warmer weather we can turn the heat off and just have the cozy romance of the fireplace.

This is also a beautiful piece of furniture. The top stays cool so any sort of home décor will work; flower arrangements (both fake and real), candles, books, pictures, etc. There is no danger of heat damage to whatever is put on top.

I have been well-satisfied with my Electralog electric fireplace. It makes a very nice addition to a room or apartment.

I have an Electralog electric fireplace--sounds exactly like the one above which was reviewed on 12/26/10. Mine stopped working last night. It still lights up, shows the flame, etc. and I do feel air blowing at the bottom but it is not hot air; therefore it is no longer heating. When it was working this thing was a little gem. It warmed a large area of the home. Does anyone know whether this can be repaired, or is it trash now. We ae going to take it apart and see what we can find out. I cannot locate any owner manual for it. My model number is 69011050600. Probably purchased approx. 2007.
