Dyson Animal DC25 Vacuum

When Dyson came out with the new ball-technology to make the upright vacuum cleaner easier to maneuver, that was the only thing they had to work on as far as improvements. Although there are a number of different models to choose from, I went with the Dyson DC25 Animal Ball Technology Upright Vacuum Cleaner. All of the vacuums in the Animal line are designed for those people who have pets. It is made to remove pet hair and dander from the home and it delivers.

After owning uncountable other types of vacuums, I finally gave in to the more expensive Dyson model hoping I wasn't making a mistake. I have found that the Dyson guarantee that the vacuum will not lose suction is true. This is a powerful vacuum that works as well every time you use it as it does the first. Unlike many of the others, it is also lightweight enough to handle with ease. The new ball technology makes it even easier to turn around corners and it goes from carpet to floors without any adjustments.

The Dyson Animal DC25 has all the normal attachments and the wand just pulls right out of the vacuum handle once you pop up the lid. Although the attachments are made to fit "on board" they don't stay put when you hit against something so I just leave them off unless I need them.

The dirt is stored in a clear plastic container which is exceptionally easy to empty. There are no bags to buy and the filters just have to be washed regularly, not replaced. There are also no belts to break. The only problem I have with hair is that human hair still manages to get wrapped around the roller and must be cut off.

Other brands of vacuums have been introduced on the market that promise to never lose suction and are available for a significantly lower price. However, with the Dyson, you get the guarantee of performance that the Root Cyclone technology has been providing for years. Not only is the DC25 made to remove pet hair, there is also a HEPA filter and the vacuum is certified asthma friendly. You can tell the difference when you vacuum without the "stirring up" that occurs with other vacuums.

There is no doubt that the Dyson Animal DC25 is a high end vacuum that sells for a lot more than most other brands. However, it is more of an investment in a vacuum cleaner that you can expect to last for a long time without diminishing in quality as opposed to going through a number of "disposable" vacuums that cost less.
