Dirt Devil Easy Steamer MCE7300

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

The Dirt Devil Easy Steamer MCE7300 is the upgraded version of Dirt Devil's series of Easy Steamers. However, this version of the Easy Steamer is slightly different in that it comes with additional attachments and a higher price tag.

Despite the fact that it costs more than the previous model, the Dirt Devil Easy Steamer MCE7300 is still much cheaper than most of the competitors. It does a great job of taking care of everyday cleaning tasks. It also comes with all kinds of different told that make it even more useful. The tools that it comes with helps you to steam stairs and different kinds of upholstery. If you need a steam cleaner that goes beyond just carpets, you may want to look into spending the extra money on this. However, you may find that you need to pre-treat stains.

The Dirt Devil Easy Steamer MCE7300 has a motorized, rotating brush head. One is full with hot water and cleaning solution, while the other has the dirty water from the carpet. These are easy to remove, refill and put back. However, they could have made it a little bit bigger so you would not have to worry about stopping to refill while steaming.

It's important to know that the Dirt Devil Easy Steamer MCE7300 does not contain its own heating mechanism to create steam, so calling the cleaner a "steamer" is a little far from the truth. Instead, one must use hot tap water when filling the clean water reservoir.

If one expects to use a carpet steam cleaner on stair or upholstery, it's worth it to pay the additional $60 for this model rather than purchase one of Dirt Devil's no-frills steam cleaners. The Dirt Devil Easy Steamer MCE7300 is an average carpet cleaner with onboard tools that make it more versatile.
