This camera is 18 megapixels, has a 3-inch LCD display, and shoots a continuous 3.7 frames per second.
It has direct print, USB 2.0 compatible, and has digital noise reduction. It is all Canons' most well known features, like Digic 3 processing, self cleaning sensor unit, and dioptic correction, plus a lot of new features like recording in full HD and video capture of 30 frames per second at 1920X1080p. It has an Electret Condenser built in microphone, a SD card slot and a multitude of shooting options.
This EOS T2i came with an EF-S, 18-55mm, IS- lens.
They gave this new EOS a stainless steel body, and, fiberglass reinforced, polycarbonate resin. It is definitely a sharp looking piece of equipment, that is more durable, but the down side of that is, it is also a little heavier, weighing a little over 16oz.
The buttons are well marked, the instruction manual is easy to read and it will shoot fabulous pictures on the automatic setting, as well as multitudes of options for the manual settings.
It is pricey, but it is one of very few 18mp cameras to choose from. Most have been 10, 12, and 15mp, and there are a couple of 24mp. Compared to other name brand cameras, with 12, 14 and 15mp, the price of this Canon is average to slightly higher.
It is easy enough for an amateur to use and has the features and quality for professional looking photos.
