I have a large property that requires constant mowing and other chores. At first I tried to use a hand pushed mower but this not only took me several hours, it left me tired for the rest of the day. After a couple of springs and summers of breaking my back pushing a mower I coughed over $1300 for the Briggs & Stratton Intek V-Twin. In my time using it I have not only managed to keep my lawn looking nice, but have also found it useful for hauling hay, garbage, and many of the other chores I have had to work on.
The Good:
The Briggs & Stratton is without a doubt one of the best lawn tractors I have ever used. It not only does a bang up job of cutting the grass but it comes in handy for almost any outside chore I need it too. In the spring I use it to cut weeds, and till the ground. In the summer I use it to keep the weeds under control and to haul everything ranging from hay to dirt. In the winter I use it to plow my driveway. Overall, I think I manage to use this powerful little machine at least two to three times a week.
The Bad:
The only thing I was were different about the Briggs and Stratton Intek would be the fact it runs on gas. I would much rather be able to plug it in at the end of the day. However, it is fairly fuel efficient giving me several hours of work per tank of gas so my wallet does not feel the gas pinch too badly.
All in all I would easily and enthusiastically recommend the Briggs and Stratton riding lawn tractor to everyone who has a need for such a piece of equipment.
