Blade Mini Powersport GK50 GoKart

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

For my son's birthday this year we purchased the Blade Mini Powersport GK50 GoKart. We were excited to see how he would like it and how well it would hold up with time and with three busy and active kids. I have been very happy with the way that it has handled going up and down hills, as well as over ruts and holes in land that is largely uncleared. The double seat is just perfect for my ten year old son and his seven year old sister to ride around our land and have fun. As far as the ruggedness, we have had to replace a tire, but I suspect that this was due to the many ruts and dips in the land, as well as the way it is driven, rather than the way that the GoKart was made or the dependability of the parts. The engine has not given us any issues and starts up the first time each and every time that the kids want to ride, which is great. It seems to be balanced quite well, too, with no major issues with turning over. I also like the high sides that helps to keep debris from bouncing back up into the kid's eyes and body. This has eased my mind, simply because that was one of my big worries with buying a GoKart. We have all enjoyed watching the kids ride around in it and listening to them laugh and play. Even though he rode it throughout the summer and into the fall, it still looks great and is giving us no trouble. We cannot ask for more. This GoKart was well worth the price that we paid for it. If you are looking for a basic starter GoKart for your children, this one is a great choice to get them started in the fun world of GoKart-ing.
