The Black & Decker PowerPro food processor is in a class of its own. The 10-cup processor has the capacity to handle the largest jobs with ease. The processor has a 500-watt motor for all food-processing needs. The unit has a nice touch pad surface with a convenient indicator light than turns on when the unit is in use. The food processor has an easy to use hi, low, off/pulse button, which reduces the amount of confusion when operating the machine. The performance of this machine is exceptional. It performs as well as machines with much more powerful motors. The under $60 price tag makes this an amazing buy.

This Black & Decker food processor has a few safety features built right into the machine. For starters, the base has suction cups. This allows the machine to stay in place during heavy duty processing jobs. Many machines in the same class do not offer this feature. The machine also has a safety-interlocking feature. The bowl must be locked to the base, the lid must be locked to the bowl, and the chute must be locked to the lid for the machine to operate. This prevents spillages and possible injuries. Many food processors in the same class do not offer this feature either. This may be a pain for those wanting to process in hurry, but this feature saves time on cleanup.

The unit also comes with a shredder, slicer, and dough kneading attachment. Depending on the needs of the user, these come in handy. The parts are extremely accurate and precise when in use. The slicer and shredder do not allow any chunks of food through to the bowl. The blades are durable stainless steel, which is easy to clean. The attachments, bowl, lid, and chute are all dishwasher safe.
The food processor is pretty safe. The only issue is that the blades do not store in the bowl when not in use. The unit does not come with a bag to store the blades when not in use, so users must be very careful when handling and storing the attachments. Many units come with a storage lid or an area inside the machine to store the blades safely.

This is a great buy for the price. Many units in the same class with the same capabilities costs double the price. The unit makes about as much noise as a 3-cup unit. The large capacity and large mouth chute make this food processor well worth the purchase.
