The Amana AFD2535DEW is a really beautiful refrigerator. You will notice right away that this fridge has french doors and, of course, has the freezer on the bottom. It's a little noisy when it's running, but it is not overwhelmingly noisy, and it was never loud enough to keep me awake at night and I am a light sleeper.

I like the plain white color that it comes in, but I can also see that it might sell better if it were available in more colors or stainless steel. Not to take anything away from this refrigerator but I also noticed that the handles are made of a lighter weight plastic than you would usually see on a quality product, and although it has not been a problem thus far, I can see that it might eventually become a problem a few years down the road. But for me these are cosmetic things. I was more concerned about how it works and will it be around for years and so far I am happy with mine.

Having said that, I have not experienced any problems with this refrigerator at all and would happily buy it again many years down the road when if it were to go out.

I give it five stars, and if I could, I would give it more than that. I also believe that it was given a "Best Buy" rating from Consumer reports recently. That makes me feel even better about my purchase because when you're making a major purchase like this, you expect it to perform as advertised, and so far, it always has. If you are looking for a reliable refrigerator, I recommend the Amana and I would never recommend a product if I didn't sincerely believe it to be true.
