2010 Hyundai Tuscan

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

The 2010 Hyundai Tuscan is surprisingly less boxy than it has ever been before. It has a more streamlined design that looks more like a Rav4 than the previous years' models. This year, the Tuscan comes in nine different colors from cotton white to garnet red, most of the colors are darker shades that are not for everyone but they keep the car cooler than ever before. This car is built like an SUV for easier movement in and out of the car. A huge benefit for people that have smaller children or back problems when it comes to removing groceries or infants from the backseat or trunk.

The Tuscan is a four door, four cylinder with 175 horse power. It gets 23 miles to the gallon in town and 35 miles on the highway. This is a great vehicle for those that do a lot of in-town driving. Its MSRP is $18,995. This car is a six speed manual transition. This car comes in either front wheel drive or all wheel drive, depending on which is your preference. This car is a five passenger vehicle with plenty of head room for even the tallest person.

I rate this car a 4 for overall performance and quality. It is much smaller than the Rav4, making it more manageable and easier to get in and out of because it is not as tall. The two wheel drive is a much smoother ride for driving in the mountains or anywhere that the pavement is less than perfect. The suspension is not as rigid. The heated seats are fantastic during the wintertime. It is nice to be able to adjust the seat as much as you wish-- up, down, left, right, move the back down or forward, and even have the ability to adjust the bottom of the seat to sit lower toward the front or back for better posture. The tow hitch on the back of the car makes for easy towing capabilities of ATVs or other smaller vehicles.
