The GMC Terrain jumps out and grabs your attention at first sight, it has a unique styling. The flowing lines of this sports utility vehicle just make you believe by looking at it that will be an efficient, eye catching wonder to drive. There was not one bit of disappointment when we finally drove one. I should not have taken the wife with me she fell in love with it and it is hard to negotiate when she is setting there saying I want it.

The GMC Terrain is a 4 wheel drive Sport Utility Vehicle that is supposed to get 22 mpg city and 32 mpg highway, I found this to be fairly accurate the best we have gotten was 31 mpg on the highway and an average of 26.5 mpg. The average mileage is figured on 46,354 miles.

The drivers area of this vehicle is arranged so well there is no stretching to reach anything, the SLE package has many of the controls on the steering wheel so you do not have to remove your hands to change many of the settings. The seat for the driver is so comfortable that when you have driven out a tank of gas, and believe me that takes a while, you can get out of the Terrain and not have trouble walking around or have a back ache.

The seats in the GMC Terrain are very comfortable, if you have the option with the additional lumbar support it is well worth what ever it costs. The Terrain seats 5 comfortably. It has separate temperature controls for front and rear seating, with plenty of head room. This is one of the most comfortable sports utility vehicle I have ever had the pleasure to ride in, normally I have to drive because the rear seats are to crowded for me, but this GMC Terrian does not have that problem.

The standard V6 engine has plenty of power, although I would not want to tow anything heavy, it is great for the jet ski, ATV or motorcycles. The cargo are will carry all of the suitcases or groceries you should ever need to put in the cargo area, but if you need more room there is an available cargo rack or you could just lay down the back seats.

We looked at other makes of the smaller SUV and price wise they are very competitive, with a slight edge to the GMC Terrain. Combine that with a unique look the GMC Terrain has it all.
