2009 Aqua Patio 220 BC-3 Pontoon

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

The 2009 Aqua Patio 220 BC-3 Pontoon is one sweet boat. Perfect for relaxing with family and friends or entertaining a large group on the water, this pontoon boat is versatile. It's easy to handle with good steering and whips right around in tight spaces which makes crowded dock arrivals easy to manage.

We bought this particular boat because we wanted a fast boat without giving up comfort and space. The boat has a Yamaha in-line 4 stroke 150 HP outboard motor which performs well. What I like about the motor we have is that we don't deal with a strong fuel smell even when the boat is at full speed.

This boat has an aluminum exterior and is built to last. The interior is comfortable. Quality materials were used in the captain's-style chairs and sofa-style seating.

We have ample room to entertain. The built-in entertainment center includes a hand-pump but we typically use the spacious cooler storage.

We opted for the color-coordinated canopy option which is highly recommended. We also added the changing room which is also suggested, especially if your days at the lake include swimming with a crowd.

Personally, I love this boat's mood lighting. This is ideal when you're not quite ready to give up the day at the lake but you're ready for the kids to grab their sleeping bags and take a nap.

Plenty of seating and drink holders are available. Storage is somewhat limited since the main storage is a ski locker located in the floor. Overall, I'm pleased with my pontoon boat. I wish I'd opted for vinyl decking instead of carpet. With children, the carpet is hard to keep clean. However, by and large, it's durable and holds up well even with a lot of foot traffic.
