The 2008 Suzuki XL7 Luxury All Wheel Drive vehicle is a good value in sport utility from the Suzuki Motor Corporation. Our maroon colored 2008 model had a list price of $27,900.
The vehicle's greatest strengths are its smooth ride and versatility. With standard seating for seven passengers, the car has third row stow away seating that can very easily transitioned. We typically have the third row stowed in order to take advantage of the rear cargo space since we can very comfortably sit two children and some supplies in the second row seating.
Features of the XL7 Luxury model include its Multi-point injection system, 18.6 gallon main unleaded fuel tank, and 3.6 liter V6 front engine. You also get to drive in comfort with the cars consistent and fast-acting all-around air system.
Fuel efficiency of the vehicle could be considered a main weakness. It averages just 15 miles per gallon for city driving, but does a bit better with a 22 miles per gallon highway average. Combined, you get about 18 miles per gallon with this ride.
Another challenge with the XL7 model is difficulty in seeing out the rear mirror. If you are more comfortable with regular use of the rearview mirror, you might find it frustrating to try to see out the back window. However, the ample size and visibility of the side mirrors help offset this issue.
Given the price, dependability and reliability, along with concerns about the stability of American-made cars, it is hard to find a better car value in the current auto market than the Suzuki XL7. It is a standard in the mid-sized, value sport utility vehicle market. The maroon color offers sporty style and look for the vehicle as well. You do not have to feel like you are operating a conventional kid-mobile.
