2004 GMC Yukon Denali $49,310

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

The Denali is the most upscale model of the GMC line and it shows in the features and quality of the vehicle. The Yukon Denali comes standard with the 6.0 liter V8 engine providing an amazingly quick take off for a sport utility vehicle. The snappy response is helpful when passing and getting in and out of traffic. My family and I enjoy the comfortable interior and ride. The 2004 model Yukon Denali offers heated leather seats for front and middle row passengers, 10-way power seats, On-Star, Navigation, 9 Bose stereo Speaker for the six- disc CD changer. The kids love the middle row bucket seats making it easy for them to pass into the optional 3rd row seating as well as the Sun, Sound and Entertainment package we purchased. This package includes the Panasonic DVD Passenger Entertainment System which is a seven-inch flip-down screen ,two sets of wireless (infrared) headphones with independent volume control, a wireless remote control and three sets of auxiliary video and audio inputs. The wireless headphones are great for my older two children but I can't seem to get my younger child to wear them, making me the driver having to listen to the movies. The short version of the Yukon Denali lacks storage space when my family and I travel we need to remove a seat for luggage with only enough room for a row of grocery bags behind the third row of seating there is not enough room for luggage or a cooler.
The smooth ride of the 2004 Yukon Denali is compared to none! I have not been in a vehicle that rides smoother. The Stabilitrak stability control, computer controlled AutoRide suspension and tire-pressure monitoring system, which continuously check tire pressures in all four tires and alerts the driver when pressures are low all assist the Denali in its impeccably smooth ride.
The exterior of the 2004 Yukon Denali is beautiful with its standard chrome grille distinguishing itself from the standard Yukon's to its new in 2004 chrome exhaust tip. I love the way it looks driving down the road.
I will have to say the gas mileage is not close to what the mfg says 13 city and 17 highway, we consistently get about 10 city and 15 highway.
