I propose that section 2.1.1 of RFC1855 be amended such that inline PGP signatures, which are always > 4 lines, are deemed acceptable until RFC2015 or an alternative standard for including PGP signatures as MIME attachments reaches BCP status.  At this time, few email or news clients can properly handle PGP signatures as MIME attachments.  Thus, the user is forced to choose between authentication and RFC1855 compliance.
