There is:"The minimum length of the data field of a packet sent over an   Ethernet is 1500 octets, thus the maximum length of an IP datagram   sent over an Ethernet is 1500 octets."But should be:"The maximum length of the data field of a packet sent over an   Ethernet is 1500 octets, thus the maximum length of an IP datagram   sent over an Ethernet is 1500 octets."
