While RFC 2142 may well create clear Denial of Service targets, this is already the case with, e.g. "postmaster", addresses which currently receive torrents of spam. Perhaps an alternative approach to mailbox names is to give ISPs the flexibility to use different addresses but *require* them to display this information clearly on a standard named web page both in the language of the site and English - thus allowing the majority of visitors to find the information. This would be of particular help for spam victims where identifying an abuse-reporting address can be impossible on a great many sites.
