I have a cavalier that will be a year old on January 17, 2004. He is about 14 pounds and was wondering when they reach full adult size. Thanks

Cavaliers should reach their full height before one year, and their adult weight by one year.  It is very important to not let Cavaliers get overweight, because they all suffer from a serious heart defect, called mitral valve disease, and too much weight puts a severe strain on their hearts.
