Are Goldens subject to growing tumors?

Ours is 10 yrs old and has lots of fatty tumors.  Wonder if there is anything we can do to shrink them other than surgery?  He has already lost weight.  Any resources on diet or natural supplements that might help?

I WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT SOME ANSWERS. WE HAD A GOLDEN SHE WAS 9 YEARS OLD. HERE IS MY QUESTION, IN MAY THIS FARMER HAD PUT CHICKEN POOP IN TRUCK LOADS IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE. WE HAVE BEEN TO VETS OFFICE EVERY MONTH. BUT TODAY WE FOUND OUT THAT OUR GOLDEN'S LIVER WAS DAMAGED FROM THE CHICKEN POOP, AND SHE HAS GOTTEN TUMOR WITHIN THE LAST MONTH. IS THIS TRUE THAT CHICKEN POOP CAN CAUSE THIS PROBLEMS.
